Customisation Terms

All custom box requests are subject to review by The Barfii Co. Submission of a request does not confirm acceptance, production capacity, pricing or delivery.

We will review the proposed design, quantity, artwork, materials, delivery location and production timeline before issuing a formal quotation.

Custom packaging may require a minimum order quantity depending on the box structure, dimensions, material, printing method and finishing selected.

The applicable minimum quantity will be confirmed in the final quotation.

Prices displayed elsewhere on the website do not apply to fully customised boxes.

The final quotation may include:

• Box manufacturing charges
• Artwork adaptation charges
• Printing and foiling charges
• Die, plate or tooling charges
• Prototype or sampling charges
• Personalised insert or sleeve charges
• Special material charges
• Delivery and handling charges

All applicable charges will be itemised or explained before approval.

A 50 percent advance is required after the final quotation and design specifications are approved.

Production will begin only after:

• Written quotation approval
• Artwork approval
• Confirmation of final quantity
• Receipt of the 50 percent advance

The remaining 50 percent must be paid before dispatch.

Custom orders require a minimum production window of 21 business days after final approval and receipt of the advance.

Orders involving structural development, prototypes, special materials, imported components or complex printing may require additional time.

Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not counted as business days.

Customers may upload their logo, artwork, brand guidelines or reference images.

Artwork should preferably be supplied in a high-resolution or editable format, including PDF, SVG, AI or EPS.

JPG, PNG and WEBP files may be accepted as references, but may require recreation or adaptation before production.

The customer confirms that they own, control or have permission to use all logos, names, artwork, photographs and intellectual property submitted to The Barfii Co.

The Barfii Co. will not be responsible for claims arising from unauthorised use of submitted artwork or branding.

A digital artwork preview or design proof will be shared where applicable.

The customer must carefully review:

• Names and spelling
• Dates and messages
• Logo placement
• Colours
• Dimensions
• Quantity
• Box structure
• Printing and finishing details

Production will begin only after written approval.

Colours displayed on screens may differ slightly from printed colours.

Minor variations may also occur between production batches due to differences in paper, fabric, board, printing, foiling, embossing and handcrafted finishing.

Such reasonable variations will not be treated as defects.

Changes requested after artwork approval or production commencement may result in:

• Additional charges
• Revised minimum quantities
• Delayed delivery
• Replacement of already produced components

Some changes may not be possible once production has started.

Physical samples or prototypes may be chargeable.

A sample is intended to confirm the general structure, proportions, materials and finish. Minor differences may occur during final production.

Sampling time is additional to the final production timeline unless otherwise confirmed.

For specialised printed packaging, minor production quantity variation may occur due to manufacturing tolerances.

Any permitted variation will be communicated in the quotation before approval.

The 50 percent advance and any design, tooling, sampling or development charges become non-refundable once artwork is approved, materials are procured or production has commenced.

Cancellation before production begins will be reviewed based on work already completed and costs already incurred.

Delivery timelines are estimates and remain subject to:

• Final artwork approval
• Payment clearance
• Production capacity
• Material availability
• Delivery serviceability
• Weather, transport or other events beyond reasonable control

The customer must provide complete and accurate delivery information.

Where the custom box contains mithai, savouries, dates or other food products, the applicable shelf life, storage instructions and dispatch conditions will be shared separately.

Delivery dates should be planned according to the shelf life of the selected products.

A custom order is considered confirmed only after The Barfii Co. has issued the final quotation, received written approval and received the required 50 percent advance.
